How it Works
We welcome Wisconsin growers with all levels of experience and production systems. As a participant you fill out a survey on your cover cropping experiences, and gather a Fall and Spring sample from one cover cropped field. We provide you with a free sampling kit and addressed/stamped mailers so you can send your samples to labs for analysis. In return, we send you $100 honorarium along with your personal biomass production and nutrient quality analyses for that cover crop. We also release regular project reports on statewide findings and maintain our interactive cover crop dashboard. As a commitment to your privacy we promise that all field data we gather will never be made public in association with any personal information without your consent. Your participation is voluntary and you can leave the project at any time. If all the above is agreeable to you, please proceed and welcome!
